G4S is a leading global security company operating within the criminal justice sector in the UK since 1992, and delivering a range of criminal justice and substance misuse services in Wales.

We have delivered the Integrated Offender Interventions Services (IOIS) in the west region of South Wales since 2012 and the Drug Interventions Programme since 2006. IOIS is a drug and alcohol intervention programme supporting substance-misusing offenders to move away from crime and into treatment.

We operate Hartshorn House in Maesteg, a multi-agency health and well- being centre in partnership with Bridgend County Council.

We are responsible for the management, security and care of offenders at HMP&YOI Parc in Bridgend. We have developed Invisible Walls Wales, a Big Lottery Fund awarded project which provides a tailored support package to offenders and their families. This extends to assisting the whole family with substance misuse issues and resettlement into the community following the offender’s release. We have a range of voluntary sector partners working with offenders and their families and substance misuse services in the community.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with our voluntary sector consortium partners Kaleidoscope and Drugaid to deliver the Gwent Drug and Alcohol Service for adult substance misusers, and specifically the Gwent Integrated Recovery Intervention Service for offenders within the criminal justice system.
