The Drug Interventions Programme (DIP) provides interventions for drug-misusing offenders throughout their criminal justice journey.
Funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent, Ian Johnston, the scheme aims to engage with Drug misusers that are engaging criminal activity by contacting them at various stages of the criminal justice. System. DIP workers are based in Police Stations, Courts, and Prisons together with five bases across Gwent.
